Tunable broadband light emission from graphene

چکیده

Graphene is an ideal material for integrated nonlinear optics thanks to its strong light–matter interaction and large optical susceptibility. It has been used in modulators, saturable absorbers, frequency converters, broadband light emitters. For the latter application, a key requirement ability control engineer emission wavelength bandwidth, as well electronic temperature. Here, we demonstrate that of graphene's hot carrier photoluminescence can be tuned by integration photonic cavities, while thermal management achieved out-of-plane heat transfer hexagonal boron nitride. Our results pave way graphene-based ultrafast emitters with tunable emission.
